Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Kassongo!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kassongo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hunt swivels and escapes.
Nice sprawl there from Hunt as Kassongo shoots in.
Kassongo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Marcus Hunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Kassongo.
Hunt throws a head kick that half lands.
Jackson Kassongo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunt lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Hunt dives in and grabs Kassongo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kassongo pushes down on Hunt's head and hops out.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kassongo.

and Hunt counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kassongo is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kassongo closes the distance and clinches up with Hunt, looking for a takedown. Kassongo pushes Hunt against the cage but Hunt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kassongo postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Hunt covers up, he's hurt! Kassongo keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kassongo and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kassongo can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
