The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Talenworths swivels and escapes.

Mir throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Talenworths's waist but Talenworths gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mir off to one side.

Talenworths shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Talenworths was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Talenworths lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Mir bucks up and throws Talenworths to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Mir shoots in looking for a takedown. Talenworths tries to sprawl out of it but Mir keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Talenworths manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mir bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Talenworths's guard.

Talenworths pushes Mir off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Mir escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Talenworths gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Talenworths looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Mir has picked Talenworths up and slammed him! Talenworths can't keep hold of the triangle and Mir manages to pass to side control!

I would just about give that final round to Frank Mir.
