Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 23 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ben Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sharven Sheven!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheven stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sheven ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Turner moves away.

Turner closes the distance and clinches.
Turner misses with a short punch on the inside.
Turner misses with the head strike.
Sheven lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Sheven blocks an uppercut.
Turner tries to work over Sheven's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sheven can't get the takedown.
Turner throws a punch but it's blocked by Sheven.
A head punch on the inside from Turner fails to land.
Sheven lands a left hand that snaps the head of Turner backwards.
Turner presses Sheven against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Nice body punch from Turner - that landed with a thud.
Turner misses with a short punch on the inside.
Sheven drops down looking for an ankle pick but Turner pulls his leg out and moves away.
Turner throws a leg kick but Sheven moved away.
Sheven has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Turner finds it's way round the side to connect with Sheven's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Turner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Turner throws a jab but it's blocked by Sheven.
Despite the aggression on Sheven's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Turner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sheven manages to avoid it.
Sheven uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Turner.
Sheven moves away from the strike by Turner.
Turner misses with a left hand
letting Sheven counter with a right hand.
Turner takes a swing at Sheven's ribcage but misses.

Turner gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sheven to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Sheven wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving.
Sheven stays in close to Turner's body and controls the position.
Turner looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Sheven puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Sheven looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Turner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Sheven thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Turner's head.
Still in half guard, Sheven seems content to control.
Sheven prevents Turner from improving his position.
Turner is looking to control Sheven's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Turner avoid being mounted?
Turner is controlling Sheven's trapped leg to prevent Sheven from advancing to side control.

Sheven tries to pass to full mount but Turner defends it.
Well, if Sheven is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Sheven shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turner but Turner pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ben Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sharven Sheven.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Turner lands a nice hook to Sheven's body. Sheven takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Sheven throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Turner was covering up waiting for the punch and Sheven finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Turner has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sheven off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Turner is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sheven can do to turn this around?

Turner sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Turner has his foot on Sheven's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sheven works his way back into a safe position though.

Turner shoots in looking for a takedown. Sheven tries to sprawl out of it but Turner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sheven manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
