Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Connar Cage (ranked 3055 p4p, 320 weight class) and Jank Stank (ranked 7578 p4p, 498 weight class). Stank has chosen Tetris - Lilcockpump & London Yellow as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage misses with a takedown attempt - Stank sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cage moves into range and clinches up with Stank.
Stank lands a hook to the side of the head.
Cage lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Stank breaks the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been informed that Stank has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stank leaves Cage with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Connar Cage.
I think Stank has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
