Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ripper Stallone (ranked 6212 p4p, 486 weight class) and Marco Marshall (ranked 6279 p4p, 489 weight class). Marco Marshall will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stallone misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stallone shoots in for a takedown but Marshall shows good takedown defense.

Marshall appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Stallone closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Marshall quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stallone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Oooooh!!! Marshall has knocked Stallone down with a huge combo! Marshall steps away and waves a wobbly Stallone back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Oh Stallone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
