The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darryl lands with a thumping leg kick.
Darryl lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Darryl chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kobos gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Darryl counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kobos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Darryl appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Kobos takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Darryl turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kobos has eaten all the pies!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Darryl goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Gabriel Kobos has been cut.

Kobos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Darryl defends well and Kobos ends up having to push Darryl into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Darryl fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kobos.

Darryl slaps away a takedown attempt from Kobos, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Salvord Darryl has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Kobos.
Kobos wants to clinch
and Darryl counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kobos's knee momentarily.

and Darryl counters with an outside leg kick.
Darryl moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kobos tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Gabriel Kobos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping leg kick lands for Darryl .

Darryl scoring well with a low kick there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Darryl feints and then cracks Kobos's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kobos down.
Darryl lands with a kick to the temple. Kobos shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

That has opened up Gabriel Kobos's cut even more.
Darryl feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kobos's calf.

Darryl lands a big head kick that sends Kobos tumbling to the mat! Darryl takes a step backwards and waves Kobos back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The cut above Gabriel Kobos's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Kobos takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Darryl keeps Kobos at a distance using the push kick.

Kobos on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Darryl connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Darryl throws a head kick that Kobos semi-blocks.

Gabriel Kobos's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Darryl lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kobos takes a step back to recover.
Darryl thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kobos if he has to take too many more of those.
Darryl fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kobos.

That kick from Darryl tenderised Kobos's leg. Kobos is trying to keep his angry face on.

Kobos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Darryl counters with a flying knee. Nice.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gabriel Kobos's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
