The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clancy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Clancy.
Clancy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Young is fending him off so far but Clancy persists. Nope, Young circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gordon Clancy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Young tries a low kick but Clancy avoids it.
Clancy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Young but Young pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Clancy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Young manages to get himself to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clancy has hold of Young's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Young tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Clancy cranks the arm and Young screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Young, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
