The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barcelos gets caught napping as Leo Nani dives in and scores a takedown. Barcelos manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barcelos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Leo Nani changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barcelos tries to avoid it but Leo Nani manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barcelos to the ground. Barcelos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
