Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastian fails in his attempt to clinch.
Alexander feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bastian can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Alexander controls the pace.
Bastian wants to sweep but no luck.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bastian can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bastian thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Alexander stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bastian swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bastian shoots in looking for a takedown but Alexander manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bastian's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

It looked like Alexander was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Alexander feints and as Bastian raises his hands in defense, Alexander changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bastian is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bastian wants to take a breather but Alexander is having none of it.

I would just about give that final round to Brandon Bastian.
