Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gino Trecozze (ranked 5343 p4p, 422 weight class) and Paulo Gentil (ranked 1976 p4p, 224 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Gentil!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trecozze changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gentil tries to avoid it but Trecozze manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gentil to the ground. Gentil escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gentil looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gentil. That's going to slow Trecozze down.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Trecozze is defended easily by Gentil.
Trecozze goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Trecozze shoots for a takedown but Gentil saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gentil swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gino Trecozze. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Gentil counters with a good, hard body kick but Trecozze shrugs it off.
A clash of legs there as Gentil blocks the low kick.
Gino Trecozze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trecozze moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gentil connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Trecozze has his takedown stuffed
and Gentil counters with a left to the body.
Trecozze is breathing heavily.
Trecozze scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Trecozze fails with the takedown
and Gentil counters with a nice uppercut.
Trecozze is rocked!
Gentil has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gentil stuns Trecozze with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Trecozze throws a head kick that misses.
Gentil weaves into range and cracks Trecozze right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Trecozze goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Gentil is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Paulo Gentil!
Paulo Gentil spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
The defeated Gino Trecozze had this to say: 'And so I've lost. It sucks but that's what happened. I promise I'll back, stronger than ever! '.
