Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Covid Nineteen (ranked 4084 p4p, 0 weight class) and Old Man (ranked 4227 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Covid Nineteen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Old Man!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nineteen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Man looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Nice shot lands for Man.
Man scores with a nice right hand.
Man scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Man lands a leg kick that knocks Nineteen off balance momentarily.

Man drives through and clinches with Nineteen against the cage.
Man wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nineteen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Man avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Nineteen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Man gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Covid Nineteen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Man wants to break free but Nineteen has control.
Nineteen has Man pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Man manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Man can't break the clinch.
Man wants to break free but Nineteen has control.
Nineteen goes for a takedown attempt but Man pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Man moves into the clinch.

Nineteen gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nineteen advances to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nineteen connects with a nice short shot to Man's temple.
Nineteen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Man with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Man manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Nineteen drives through with a takedown into Man's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Man is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Nineteen is controlling him well.
Nineteen is putting a hurting on Man here, landing some big shots from side control.
Nineteen lands a big left to the face of Man, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Nineteen and another - Man is out! Nineteen stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.

Covid Nineteen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
