Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Bass (ranked 5013 p4p, 0 weight class) and Whaddaboutt Bob (ranked 3850 p4p, 0 weight class). Bass kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Even Flow. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ronnie Bass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Whaddaboutt Bob!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass slips a straight right by Bob.
Left hook, right uppercut from Bob.
A big left from Bass misses.
Bob scores with a shot to the body.
Bob uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bass.
Bass lands a jab.
It looks like Whaddaboutt Bob has been cut.
Bass tries to close the distance and clinch but Bob swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bob is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Bob with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Bob digs a good hook to Bass's body.
Bob looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bass misses with an uppercut.
And Bob tries to counter it with a takedown but Bass pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Bob moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Bass on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Bass throws an off balance right hand
and Bob counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bass with a nice cross.
Bass connects with a single shot there.
Bob is rocked!
Bass rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bob moves into the clinch.
Bob is still on wobbly legs! Can Bass finish him?
Bass is working Bob over against the cage.
Bob is trying to break the clinch but Bass has him pressed against the cage.
Bob has had enough of the clinch but Bass keeps him there for the moment.
Bob seems to have recovered his senses.
Bob breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bass tries to close the distance and clinch but Bob swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bob doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bass clinches up against the cage.
A short right from Bass on the inside.
Bass escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bass throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bass just misses with a punch to the body.
Bob circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bob keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bass scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bass scores with a jab to the head.
Bob avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bob throws a big shot that misses.
Bass blocks a jab.
Bob throws a jab but it's blocked by Bass.
Bob gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Bass gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
