Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kaylon Chaffin (ranked 6805 p4p, 488 weight class) and Ronan Fury (ranked 7194 p4p, 507 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury misses the body punch
and Fury takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Ronan Fury has been cut.

Chaffin closes the distance and pushes Fury back into the cage.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Chaffin for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Kaylon Chaffin.
Fury throws a poor cross that misses
and Chaffin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fury throws an off balance right hand
letting Chaffin counter with a right hand.
Fury ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chaffin moves away.
Fury throws a combination that misses
and Chaffin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fury tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chaffin was well out of range. Poor timing from Fury.

It looked like Chaffin was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Fury.
We've been informed that Fury has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Chaffin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fury.
Chaffin seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Fury looks to score with a jab to the body but Chaffin is just out of range.
Fury misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Chaffin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fury fails to land with a series of punches.
Fury throws a left and a right that both miss
and Chaffin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Fury swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Chaffin to counter with a crisp jab.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fury cracks Chaffin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Fury is still on wobbly legs! Can Chaffin finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A punch lands to the side of Fury 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Fury is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Chaffin rather than just go for the knockout.
Chaffin dances in with a quick combination. Fury is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Chaffin snaps Fury's head back. Fury stumbles backwards against the cage. Chaffin steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Fury's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Fury just didn't come prepared.
