Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sauce Money Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Clark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sauce Money Jr!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Clark does no damage.
Clark misses with a hook. Money Jr ducked under it nicely.
Money Jr slips under a jab from Clark.
Clark throws out a loose jab but Money Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.

Clark throws a series of punches but Money Jr moves out of range.
Money Jr shoots for a takedown but Clark saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clark throws a nice looking combination but Money Jr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Money Jr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clark but Clark pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Joe Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sauce Money Jr.

Clark throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Money Jr sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Clark scores with a crisp jab that stopped Money Jr in his tracks.
Money Jr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Joe Clark is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Clark throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Money Jr loads up on a big right hand but Clark slips the punch.
Money Jr uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Clark.

Joe Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Money Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clark was well out of range. Poor timing from Money Jr.

Clark throws a right and a left that Money Jr avoids nicely.

and Money Jr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Money Jr drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Money Jr jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Clark throws a series of strikes that have Money Jr backpedaling.

Money Jr shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Money Jr lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Clark tries to lock up and control but Money Jr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Clark will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Money Jr counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Clark pushes Money Jr off looking to stand but Money Jr dives back in and keeps control.
Money Jr is pressing down on Clark's thigh, looking to free his foot. Clark is holding on for now.
Money Jr is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Money Jr is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Clark doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Money Jr.

Money Jr is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Clark defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Money Jr is looking to take a break and control but Clark is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Money Jr content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Money Jr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clark keeps working.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Clark is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Money Jr is breathing heavily.

Clark lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Money Jr sprawling to the canvas. Clark follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Money Jr hang on?


It looks like Sauce Money Jr has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Clark is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Money Jr trying to control from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Money Jr is looking for a sweep. Clark is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Clark trying to control the pace.
Clark tries to stand but can't do so whilst Money Jr controls his leg.
Clark trying to control the action but Money Jr is working from the bottom.
Money Jr wants to improve his position but Clark is controlling well.
Clark uses his free foot to push down on Money Jr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Money Jr.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Money Jr is looking to get to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Clark controlling the pace for now.
Money Jr tries to hold on but Clark postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joe Clark dominated that second round.

Money Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Clark tries to sprawl out of it but Money Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Clark stuffs the takedown.
Clark throws a shot from downtown. Money Jr moves away and avoids it.
Clark swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Clark throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Money Jr counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Money Jr.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Money Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Money Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Clark is retaining full guard.
Joe Clark is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Money Jr postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Money Jr not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Clark has control of Money Jr's left arm, preventing Money Jr from doing any damage.

Clark is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Clark manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Money Jr manages to get himself to full guard.
Money Jr tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Money Jr controls Clark momentarily but Clark frees himself.
Clark works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Clark stops Money Jr from getting back to his feet.
Money Jr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Money Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clark doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clark manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Sauce Money Jr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clark, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
