Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between J F Houle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Houle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Human(e) Meat (The Flensing of Sandor Katz). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, J F Houle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Jones!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.
Marcus Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Houle tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Houle.
Houle takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
Houle works Jones's body with a nice hook.
Jones scores with a jab to the body.
Jones misses with the combination.
Jones connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like J F Houle has been cut.
Houle is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big right from Jones misses.
Jones thows a left - swing and a miss!
Houle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jones fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jones cracks Houle with an uppercut from hell and Houle crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Jones's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Houle is rocked!
Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones looking to pass the guard.
Jones stays in close to Houle's body and controls the position.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Houle swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Houle tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jones is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Jones sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Houle's guard.
Jones uses his free foot to push down on Houle's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Houle.

Houle is desperately trying to improve his position but Jones has a good base and remains in mount.
Jones controlling the pace for now.
Jones avoids the attempt from Houle to control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones prevents Houle from getting the reversal.
Houle wants to control but Jones is having none of it.
Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Houle tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jones content just to control the position here.
Houle is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Jones controlling the pace for now.

Despite being in the dominant position, Marcus Jones just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Houle.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jones bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Houle's head.
Jones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Houle.
Jones scores with a body shot.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Houle moves away.
Jones connects with a body shot.
Houle showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jones.
Houle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jones clobbers Houle with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Houle on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Oh Houle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Houle out cold! This one is over in a flash!
