Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brad Mike (ranked 4942 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vito Falcone (ranked 5662 p4p, 0 weight class). Vito Falcone will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcone scores with a nice head shot.
Mike fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Falcone scores with a decent looking hook.
Falcone throws a right and a left that Mike avoids nicely.
Mike fires out a quick counter leg kick but Falcone just manages to avoid it.
Falcone throws a series of punches but Mike moves out of range.
Falcone leaves Mike with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mike throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Falcone throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mike sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Falcone fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mike goes for a double leg but Falcone avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Falcone continues to drive forward.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Falcone can do anything to dispel that myth.
Falcone tries to roll over but Mike keeps him under control.
Falcone is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Mike is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Falcone has managed to free his arm - good work.

Mike working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Mike wants to work for an arm triangle but Falcone is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Mike darts in looking for a takedown but Falcone gets double underhooks and turns Mike into the cage.

Mike has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Falcone regains guard immediately.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mike doesn't manage to clinch there - Falcone circles away.
Mike dives in and grabs Falcone's left leg, looking for a takedown. Falcone pushes down on Mike's head and hops out.

so Mike counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Mike keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Falcone's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mike stands and steps away. Falcone gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Mike gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Mike tries to clinch there but Falcone circles away.
Falcone shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mike eats them both and turns towards Falcone to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Falcone ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mike scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Falcone has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mike takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Falcone is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Mike moves out of range of the strikes.
Falcone's corner calls for a 1-2. Falcone obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Falcone lands with a nice combination. Mike backs away looking to recover.

A looping hook to the body misses from Falcone. Mike does a little dance to reset his feet.

Mike is looking to clinch but Falcone is avoiding it.

Mike manages to pull guard.
Falcone throws a big right hand that misses.
Falcone throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mike works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mike is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mike seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Falcone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Falcone wants to improve his position but Mike is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vito Falcone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Falcone throws a shot from downtown. Mike moves away and avoids it.

Mike has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Falcone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Falcone is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mike has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Falcone is looking to defend but Mike has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Falcone! Mike pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Falcone taps out and this one is all over!
