The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veidt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hank uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Veidt.
Veidt has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hank is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Veidt checks a leg kick nicely.
Hank takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Jonny Hank has been cut.

Veidt cracks Hank with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Veidt has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hank to stand back up!

Hank is rocked!
Hank could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hank fails to land with a series of punches.
Oh Hank is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Veidt lands a body shot.

Veidt instigates a clinch.
Hank seems to have got his legs back now.
Hank's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Veidt lands an uppercut.
Hank blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Veidt misses with a hook to the ribs.
Veidt lands with a short head shot on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Veidt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hank is looking to break free of the clinch but Veidt has double underhooks.
Veidt lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hank is trying to force a seperation but Veidt has the dominant position.
Veidt lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hank working hard to break the clinch.
Hank is trying to push Veidt away but Veidt has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hank wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Veidt cracks Hank with a nice body shot.
Hank is breathing heavily.
A short body shot lands from Veidt as the two fighters clinch.
Veidt lands a hook that snaps the head of Hank backwards.

Veidt scores with a shoulder strike.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Veidt.
Hank takes a shot to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Veidt pushes Hank back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Veidt dips a shoulder and cracks Hank with a mighty uppercut! Hank falls back against the cage and Veidt unloads with a barrage of strikes! Hank is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Veidt screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
