The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Averyanov gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Averyanov manages to break the clinch.

Averyanov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Averyanov forces his way into half guard.

Averyanov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Holcomb tries to kick Averyanov off but Averyanov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Averyanov wants to stand up but Holcomb is controlling the position.
Holcomb wants to improve his position but Averyanov is controlling well.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Averyanov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Holcomb tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Averyanov has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Holcomb tries to hold on but Averyanov postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Averyanov looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Andrei Averyanov showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Averyanov has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
