The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruse shoots and misses
and Lil Bitch counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Cruse throws a left and a right that both miss

and Lil Bitch holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Lil Bitch pulls Cruse into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lil Bitch has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Cruse off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Lil Bitch fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Cruse goes for a double leg but Lil Bitch avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lil Bitch continues to drive forward.
Nice takedown defense from Lil Bitch. No joy for Cruse on that attempt.

Mike Lil Bitch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robin Cruse.
Lil Bitch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cruse shoots in for a takedown but Lil Bitch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lil Bitch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lil Bitch lands a nice hook to Cruse's body. Cruse takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Cruse throws a series of punches but Lil Bitch moves out of range.

Cruse stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cruse wants it to stay on the feet.

and Lil Bitch counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lil Bitch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cruse throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Cruse closes the distance and clinches up with Lil Bitch, looking for a takedown. Cruse pushes Lil Bitch against the cage but Lil Bitch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lil Bitch uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cruse.

Lil Bitch blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Cruse fails to pull guard.
Lil Bitch is looking to break free of the clinch but Cruse has double underhooks.

Lil Bitch moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Cruse is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No joy there for Cruse, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Cruse throws a nice looking combination but Lil Bitch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Cruse displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lil Bitch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cruse is defended easily by Lil Bitch.

Lil Bitch shoots in but Cruse avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A little jabbing left from Cruse on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Cruse fails to land with a series of punches.
Lil Bitch changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Cruse throws an off balance right hand
enabling Lil Bitch to counter with a crisp jab.
Cruse throws a leg kick which misses Lil Bitch's front leg but catches the back leg as Lil Bitch tries to avoid it.

Lil Bitch closes the distance and pushes Cruse back into the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Lil Bitch.

Lil Bitch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cruse fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lil Bitch is looking to counter with a body kick.
Cruse fails with a takedown attempt.
Lil Bitch seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cruse throws a right and a left that Lil Bitch avoids nicely.
Lil Bitch lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Cruse throws an elbow but it misses.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Lil Bitch.
Cruse jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lil Bitch walks away with a smile on his face. Cruse gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Lil Bitch counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Cruse! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Lil Bitch!
