PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Innokenty Boleslav (ranked 5387 p4p, 222 weight class) and Sankt Vader (ranked 5563 p4p, 231 weight class). Boleslav comes into the arena with Piece of my Heart- Janis Joplin blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boleslav swinging wildly here.

Boleslav pushes Vader up against the cage in a clinch.
Vader lands an uppercut.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Vader keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Boleslav's efforts to push away.
Vader lands with a right to the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Vader.
Vader working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Vader misses with a hook from the clinch.
Boleslav is trying to push Vader away but Vader has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Boleslav misses with a short punch on the inside.
Vader swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A head punch on the inside from Vader fails to land.
Vader gets through Boleslav's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Vader lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Oh Boleslav is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Vader misses with a hook from the clinch.
Vader lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Boleslav backwards.
Boleslav is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Boleslav works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

A frustrated look appears on Boleslav's face as he tries to break the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Vader just misses with a elbow thrown towards Boleslav's brow.
Vader lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Boleslav trying to stall but Vader improves his position.
Boleslav trying to land knees to the body.
Boleslav lands a hook that snaps the head of Vader backwards.
Boleslav looking to stall.
Boleslav misses with a body punch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Vader dips a shoulder and cracks Boleslav with a mighty uppercut! Boleslav falls back against the cage and Vader unloads with a barrage of strikes! Boleslav is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Vader screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sankt Vader!
