The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamal is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barboozer.
Jamal fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jamal throws a body shot but no joy.
Jamal misses the jab.
An attempted straight right counter from Barboozer misses the target.
Barboozer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Barboozer on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Jamal walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The fighters circling - Jamal throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Barboozer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Edson Barboozer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jamal tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Barboozer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

No luck for Barboozer with that takedown attempt.
Jamal throws the left hand but Barboozer avoids the punch easily.
Barboozer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Barboozer lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Jamal lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Barboozer moves into range and clinches up with Jamal.

Jamal takes a knee to the side of the body.
Jamal pushes Barboozer back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Barboozer is trying to break free.
Jamal has a couple of punches blocked by Barboozer.
Jamal tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Jamal swings wildly with an uppercut but Barboozer uses good head movement to avoid it.

Barboozer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Barboozer walks into a left hand.
Barboozer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jamal darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Jamal tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barboozer was well out of range. Poor timing from Jamal.
A swing and a miss from Barboozer.
Barboozer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jamal uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Barboozer.
Good leg kick by Barboozer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jamal blocks a leg kick.

Jamal throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jamal misses with a looping left.
Barboozer circles away from the clinch attempt
and Barboozer counters with a big head kick but Jamal shrugs it off.
Jamal scores with a jab to the body.
Albert Jamal is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jamal tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barboozer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jamal avoids the head kick by Barboozer.
Jamal swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Jamal takes a swing at Barboozer's ribcage but misses.
Barboozer throws a leg kick but Jamal sees it coming and moves out of range.
Jamal misses with an uppercut.
Barboozer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jamal connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Barboozer scrambles back to his feet.
Barboozer is looking to chop away at Jamal's legs.
A nice inside leg kick there by Barboozer. That's going to slow Jamal down.
Jamal throws a body shot but no joy.
Jamal takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Barboozer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jamal's sensitive parts.
Barboozer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Barboozer there as he acknowledges the shot.

Barboozer is rocked!
Jamal finds Barboozer's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Barboozer flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Jamal lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Barboozer will be OK.
