Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfonso Hartel (ranked 2864 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bronko Brachial (ranked 5372 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hartel gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hartel has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Brachial is on him like a limpet, forcing Hartel back against the cage.

Brachial is pressing down on Hartel's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hartel is holding on for now.

Hartel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Brachial with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Brachial tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hartel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Brachial is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hartel can't fight it off and eventually Brachial manages to take the fight to the floor. Hartel looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hartel connects with a nice short shot to Brachial's temple.

Hartel is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Brachial doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hartel.
