The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stomper is looking to land body kicks.
Riveira tries to counter with a takedown but Stomper is quick to defend against it.

Stomper has Riveira up against the cage in a clinch.
Riveira lands with a right to the head.
Riveira lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Riveira breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Riveira goes for a double leg but Stomper avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stomper continues to drive forward.
Stomper throws a series of strikes that have Riveira backpedaling.

Riveira has closed the distance and engaged Stomper in a clinch.

Riveira blocking some punches.
Riveira is trying to drag Stomper to the mat but Stomper just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
