The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wank avoids the head kick by Li.

and Li counters with a big head kick but Wank shrugs it off.

Li throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wank is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Li tries to circle away but Wank has him pinned against the cage.

Wank is working Li over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wank gets to his feet - Li follows without any prompting.
Mun Li is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wank feints and as Li raises his hands in defense, Wank changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Li can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wank controls the pace.

Wank is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Li's half guard.

Li is looking to stand back up but Wank counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Li.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wank in particular looking to stall.
Li might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Wank winds up and cracks Li with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Wank wants to work for an arm triangle but Li is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Wank maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Li could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Wank has cracked it and Li is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Wank!
