Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Juskki Garganius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Pavlic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pavlic tries to keep at a distance but Garganius has taken the fight into the clinch.
Garganius pushes Pavlic back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pavlic has Garganius pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Garganius manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
The referee calls for Garganius to work.
Pavlic drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Garganius gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pavlic.
Juskki Garganius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maximus Pavlic.
Pavlic changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Garganius fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Garganius circles away from the clinch attempt
and Garganius counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Garganius postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Garganius seems to be working for a kimura but Pavlic defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pavlic is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Garganius's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Garganius's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pavlic is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Garganius is defending well though. Pavlic let's go of the attempt for now.

Pavlic has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Garganius has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
