The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

Sakuraba tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Charles defends well and Sakuraba ends up having to push Charles into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Sakuraba shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Charles sprawls well. Charles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sakuraba gets slowly back to his feet.
Charles tries to counter with a takedown but Sakuraba is quick to defend against it.

Sakuraba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Charles swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Charles is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sakuraba defends well.

Charles escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sakuraba gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Charles is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sakuraba defends well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Charles has his hands clasped together but Sakuraba extends and breaks Charles's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Sakuraba.
