With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugo Stiglitz!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson avoids the body shot from Stiglitz.

Watson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stiglitz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Watson with the ground and pound but Stiglitz regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Stiglitz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Watson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Watson misses with a head shot. Stiglitz uses the momentum to regain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Watson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Watson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Stiglitz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Watson moves away.
Stiglitz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Watson as he jumps to the side.
Stiglitz throws a combination. Watson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Willy Watson has been cut.

Watson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Watson misses with the ground and pound.
Stiglitz is looking to regain half guard here but Watson keeps moving and retains side control.
Stiglitz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Watson looks up at the clock and then as Stiglitz takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Watson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Watson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Watson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Watson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stiglitz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Stiglitz wants to control but Watson postures up.
Watson throws an elbow but Stiglitz slips to the side and avoids it well.
You can see the frustration on Stiglitz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The strikes coming from Watson are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stiglitz can do anything to dispel that myth.
Stiglitz avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Watson.
Watson tries to score with some ground and pound. Stiglitz controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Watson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Watson tries for a takedown but Stiglitz circles away easily

and Stiglitz counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Watson!

Watson is looking to get back to full guard here but Stiglitz has managed to pass to side control instead.
Stiglitz tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

Stiglitz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Watson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Stiglitz looking to control and managing it successfully.

Watson is working hard here to advance position.
