Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Moon (ranked 7060 p4p, 510 weight class) and Frankie DeSoto (ranked 6800 p4p, 503 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon shoots for a double leg takedown but DeSoto sprawls well. He's pushed Moon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
DeSoto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Moon was well out of range. Poor timing from DeSoto.

Moon seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Moon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. DeSoto tries to avoid it but Moon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag DeSoto to the ground. DeSoto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Moon jumps guard and drags DeSoto to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

DeSoto is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Moon is looking to cinch up a triangle. DeSoto throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Moon's body to avoid the submission. Moon has instead reached around DeSoto's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Moon arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
