Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Bill (ranked 2862 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gemian Daia (ranked 5352 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bill moves into the clinch.
Bill pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice sprawl there from Bill as Daia shoots in.
Bill changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Daia tries to avoid it but Bill manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Daia to the ground. Daia escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Daia tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Bill closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Bill got a little sloppy there for a moment and Daia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bill has managed to get both his arms back between Daia's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
