These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lends feints and as Albuquerque raises his hands in defense, Lends changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Albuquerque is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Albuquerque makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Albuquerque jumps guard and drags Lends to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Lends wants to get up but he can't break Albuquerque's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Albuquerque wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Albuquerque has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lends should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Albuquerque has tightened it up now! Lends should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
