The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramis manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Poku on his heels. He'll look to pass Poku's guard now, I'm sure.

Poku wants to control but Ramis passes easily into half guard.

Ramis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Poku is just riding it out for now. Ramis eventually gives up the hold.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Poku is controlling Ramis's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Poku is looking for a sweep. Ramis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ramis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Poku does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ramis in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Poku tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Ramis!
