Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert Munson (ranked 1948 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruairidh Roo (ranked 7519 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Munson throws a solid leg kick but Roo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Munson.
Roo ducks under a wild hook from Munson.
Roo tries to clinch up but Munson circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Roo is defended easily by Munson.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Munson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Roo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Roo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Roo is trying to break the clinch but Munson has him pressed against the cage.

Roo jumps guard but Munson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Roo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Munson avoids it really well and circles away.
Munson looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
A looping hook to the body misses from Munson. Roo does a little dance to reset his feet.

Roo dives in for a single leg takedown but Munson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Munson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Roos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
