Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Field (ranked 7230 p4p, 533 weight class) and Johnny Reynolds (ranked 5871 p4p, 478 weight class). Jack Field has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds tries to bum rush Field with a series of wild strikes but Field uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Field lands with a kick to the temple. Reynolds shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Johnny Reynolds has been cut.
Reynolds tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Reynolds gets a double leg takedown into Field's guard.

Field is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Reynolds swings around for an armbar but Field sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Reynolds's guard.

Field got a little sloppy there for a moment and Reynolds has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Field has managed to get both his arms back between Reynolds's legs - danger averted.

Field is fighting off a takedown attempt but Reynolds is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Field to the mat. Field regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Reynolds stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Field swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Field is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Reynolds is controlling him.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
