Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Slim Lahey (ranked 838 p4p, 119 weight class) and Zou Yun (ranked 1897 p4p, 252 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lahey misses with a takedown attempt
and Yun counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lahey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yun as he jumps to the side.
Lahey takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Slim Lahey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yun steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lahey.
Lahey tries to clinch up.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Yun! But no joy.
Yun ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lahey throws a right hand that misses
and Yun counters with a straight right hand.
Yun connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Lahey is rocked!
A big right from Lahey misses.
Oh Lahey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yun fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Lahey seems to have got his legs back now.
Lahey misses with a takedown attempt
and Yun counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Slim Lahey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lahey is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice shot lands for Yun.
and Yun counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Lahey! He's just covering up as Yun starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
