Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ander Herrera (ranked 7647 p4p, 268 weight class) and Lukas Hooper (ranked 3506 p4p, 183 weight class). Herrera comes to the cage accompanied by X Gon Give It To Ya. Lukas Hooper is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herrera tries for a takedown but Hooper circles away easily
so Hooper counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Herrera is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hooper slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hooper happy to just control the position for now.
Hooper is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Herrera looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hooper gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Herrera is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hooper lets go of the hold and Herrera can pop his arm back in it's socket.
