The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barton misses with a body shot.
Olstein takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Barton scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Olstein tries to score with a low kick but Barton moves his leg out of the way.
A combination from Barton does no damage.
Barton scores with a hook to the body. Olstein takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Barton misses with the combination.

Olstein moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barton tries to break free but Olstein pushes him back against the cage.
Barton tries to circle away but Olstein has him pinned against the cage.
Barton has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Barton wants to get back to striking at distance but Olstein won't allow it.

Barton is looking to break free of the clinch but Olstein has double underhooks.
Barton stops a takedown attempt from Olstein.

Olstein is trying to trip Barton. He has hold of a leg but Barton is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Olstein persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Barton wants to stand but Olstein is controlling the position.
Barton keeping moving, preventing Olstein from controlling successfully.
Barton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Olstein throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Barton works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Olstein wants to control from the top but Barton keeps moving.

Olstein is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Olstein has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Olstein drops back looking for a leg! Barton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Barton manages to kick Olstein off! Olstein jumps back into Barton's guard.
Barton wants to get back to his feet but Olstein passes into half guard.

Olstein is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Barton defends it well.
Barton is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Star Studded Beef that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Olstein is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Barton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Olstein on the ground.
Olstein passes the guard and advances to mount!

Olstein looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Barton defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Olstein.
Barton's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Olstein has control of Barton's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Barton regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Olstein tries to control but Barton wriggling away.
Olstein won't let Barton get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Olstein throws some wild stikes that Barton manages to avoid easily.

Olstein is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Barton is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Barton flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Olstein anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Barton and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Olstein slips an arm under Barton chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Olstein has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Olstein is squeezing on Barton like an anaconda would it's prey. Barton fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
