Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Crayson Lenard (ranked 5240 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Yedowitz (ranked 5445 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cory Yedowitz!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lenard moves in looking to clinch but Yedowitz pushes him off.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Yedowitz.
Lenard changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Lenard misses with a body punch

and Yedowitz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Lenard has hold of one of Yedowitz's legs. Yedowitz is fighting the takedown attempt but Lenard gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Yedowitz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lenard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lenard misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Yedowitz wants to control but Lenard postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yedowitz manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lenard gets back to full guard.

Lenard fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yedowitz avoids it really well and circles away.

Yedowitz shoots for a takedown but Lenard saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lenard went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Yedowitz closes the distance and pushes Lenard back into the cage.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A close round but Cory Yedowitz will probably get the nod.

Lenard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Yedowitz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lenard as he jumps to the side.
Lenard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And Yedowitz tries to counter it with a takedown but Lenard pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Lenard wants to stand but Yedowitz has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
