Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bellini Fernando (ranked 4896 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Deker (ranked 4617 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bellini Fernando!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ramon Deker!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Fernando with that takedown attempt.
Deker takes a kick to the side of the head.
Horrible takedown attempt by Fernando or perhaps it was just good defense by Deker, which made it look bad.
A nice inside leg kick there by Deker. That's going to slow Fernando down.

Deker throws a sloppy head kick and Fernando moves out of range easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fernando dives in for a single leg takedown but Deker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Deker throws a nice looking combination but Fernando bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Deker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fernando slips a jab and a cross from Deker.
Deker leaves Fernando with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Deker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Fernando takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Fernando looks for a takedown but Deker sprawls well.
Deker throws a right hand that Fernando ducks under and follows up with a left that Fernando also avoids with ease.
Deker stuffs the takedown attempt from Fernando. Fernando gets slowly back to his feet.
Deker fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fernando.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Fernando.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fernando misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ramon Deker dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Fernando ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fernando no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Fernando has control of Deker's left arm, preventing Deker from doing any damage.

Fernando has his foot on Deker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Deker works his way back into a safe position though.

Fernando will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Fernando slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The referee asks Fernando politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Fernando prefers to stall for the moment though.
Fernando works to advance to full mount. Deker defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Fernando takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Fernando has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Fernando unloads with some shots from mount but Deker bucks and avoids them well.

Fernando tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Bellini Fernando dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

As Deker tries to get set, Fernando tries to push him back and clinch up but Deker manages to avoid the attempt.
Deker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fernando tries to close the distance and clinch but Deker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Deker moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ramon Deker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Deker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
