Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodionovich rushes O Malley and presses him up against the cage.
O Malley gets through Rodionovich's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Rodionovich trying to control the position but instead, O Malley has worked for underhooks and has pushed Rodionovich into the cage.
O Malley breaks from the clinch.
O Malley looks to throw a body kick
and Rodionovich counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rodionovich creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through O Malley's defenses.
Rodionovich has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

O Malley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rodionovich closes this distance looking for a takedown but O Malley circles away.

O Malley throws a body punch but Rodionovich moves out of range.

Rodionovich tries to sprawl but O Malley drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
O Malley wants to control but Rodionovich is keeping him busy.
O Malley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rodionovich's head.

Rodionovich is looking for a sweep. O Malley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Rodionovich is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of O Malley's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take O Malley's back!
Rodionovich is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Rodionovich is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. O Malley is defending well though. Rodionovich let's go of the attempt for now.
