The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ristinen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Do was well out of range. Poor timing from Ristinen.

and Do counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Do lands with a straight right. Ristinen didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Jesse Ristinen has been cut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ristinen misses the shot to the body.
Do went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Ristinen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Do defends it nicely.

Do wants to stand up but Ristinen is controlling him.

Ristinen is pushing down on Do's leg trying to pass to half guard. Do is fighting to maintain full guard but Ristinen has managed to sneak the leg through.
Ristinen moves nicely into side control.
Ristinen staying calm.
Do has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Ristinen has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Do is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ristinen yanks on the arm and Do is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ristinen.
