Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karel Slezina (ranked 3625 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamdi Ahmad (ranked 25243 p4p, 0 weight class). Slezina comes into the arena with No Escape blaring out of the sound system. Hamdi Ahmad is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slezina stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Slezina wants it to stay on the feet.

Ahmad drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Slezina avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Ahmad.
Slezina is looking for a sweep.

Ahmad avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ahmad sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Slezina's guard.
Slezina is not content to let Ahmad control the position.
Slezina wants to improve his position but Ahmad is controlling well.
Ahmad is keen to just control but Slezina is a slippery customer.
