Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Whaddaboutt Bob (ranked 7486 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorenzo Matador (ranked 5173 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lorenzo Matador was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matador misses with a takedown
and Bob cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Matador misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Matador fails with the takedown
and Bob connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Whaddaboutt Bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lorenzo Matador.
Matador scoring well with a low kick there.
Matador tries to clinch but Bob moves away
and Bob counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Matador tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bob defends well and Matador ends up having to push Bob into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bob throws a big counter combination but Matador scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bob appears to be looking for a big counter.
Matador throws a predictable looking body shot
and Bob counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Matador thinking.
Matador connects with an inside leg kick.
Bob scores with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Matador gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bob cracks Matador with a hook to the temple - Matador is on wobbly legs here! Bob swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Matador falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Bob wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Whaddaboutt Bob!
