Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keith Rodgers (ranked 24737 p4p, 725 weight class) and Pasha Pedikov (ranked 24703 p4p, 743 weight class). Rodgers comes to the cage accompanied by Blue Flowers - Doctor Octagon . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pedikov misses with a head kick.
Rodgers swats away the attempt to clinch by Pedikov.
Rodgers throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pedikov on the side of the head.
Rodgers connects with a crisp jab.

Rodgers fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Pedikov to the ground. Rodgers is now in Pedikov's guard.

Rodgers drops back looking for a leg! Pedikov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pedikov manages to kick Rodgers off! Rodgers jumps back into Pedikov's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rodgers is looking to work some ground and pound but Pedikov has wrist control.
Rodgers advances position into side control!
Pedikov wants to control but Rodgers postures up.
Pedikov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rodgers is trying to get an arm triangle but Pedikov is defending well.
Rodgers has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Pedikov!

Rodgers working for a guillotine from mount but Pedikov is in no mood to give up.
Rodgers misses with a head shot.

Pedikov has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Rodgers controls the position.

Rodgers is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Pedikov is defending well though. Rodgers let's go of the attempt for now.
Rodgers has good solid back control here.
Rodgers 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Rodgers is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Pedikov is tapping out! This one is all over!
