The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Muwaitang. Those never looked like landing.
Oliveira swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Muwaitang dodges the punch combination from Oliveira.
Muwaitang misses with a few strikes there.

Muwaitang gets tackled into the cage by Oliveira. Oliveira maintains the clinch.
Muwaitang looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Oliveira misses with a knee strike.
Muwaitang wants to break the clinch but can't.
The referee is keeping an eye on Oliveira - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Oliveira wants to get back to striking at distance but Muwaitang won't allow it.

Muwaitang manages to break the clinch.
Muwaitang throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Oliveira.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oliveira throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The fight stays on the outside here - Oliveira looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Muwaitang clobbers Oliveira with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Joao Oliveira has been cut.
Oliveira takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Muwaitang drops Oliveira with a beautiful combination! Oliveira stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Muwaitang is looking for the KO!

Oliveira has taken the fight to the clinch.

Muwaitang tries to break the clinch but Oliveira is controlling the position.
Oliveira seems to have got his legs back now.
Muwaitang tries to break free but Oliveira pushes him back against the cage.
Muwaitang has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Muwaitang wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Oliveira has him pressed against the cage.

Oliveira breaks from the clinch.

Muwaitang lands a big uppercut and Oliveira crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Oliveira looks OK. Muwaitang waves Oliveira back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Muwaitang sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Oliveira's defenses. It connects perfectly with Oliveira's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
