PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charles Chester (ranked 5346 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Jameson (ranked 5284 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chester might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rolling, Limp Bizkit . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jameson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chester has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Jameson moves into the clinch.

Chester is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jameson can't fight it off and eventually Chester manages to take the fight to the floor. Jameson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Chester has control of Jameson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jameson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Jameson tries to lock up and control but Chester gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Chester is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chester, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Charles Chester decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
