The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grabos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith defends it nicely.
Smith connects with a right hand. Grabos shakes it off.
Grabos walks into a straight right hand from Smith .
Grabos fails in his attempt to clinch.
Smith connects with a good right hand that stumbles Grabos. Grabos circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Grabos takes one to the side of the head.
A slow jab from Smith misses its intended target.
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith misses with a hook. Grabos ducked under it nicely.
Grabos wants to clinch.
A head kick misses from Grabos.

Smith defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Grabos.
Smith lands a head shot.
Smith throws the left hand but Grabos avoids the punch easily.
Mike Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Smith keeps the fight on the outside.
Smith swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Grabos is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
Smith displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Grabos.
Mike Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Grabos.

A jab from Smith does it's job there.
Grabos drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Smith scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Smith paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A telegraphed right hand from Smith misses the target.
Smith is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Smith cracks Grabos with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Grabos falls to his knees and Smith doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
