The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Night Hawk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hawk is trying to maintain a safe position but Mercury gets an underhook and turns Hawk into the cage.
Mercury lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Night Hawk will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Night Hawk's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


The crowd cheers as Hawk lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mercury doesn't seem phased though.


Night Hawk's cut is getting worse.

Night Hawk is winning the standup battle so far.
Mercury throws a shot from downtown. Hawk moves away and avoids it.

Mercury takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hawk throws a big shot that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hawk shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mercury eats them both and turns towards Hawk to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Mercury walks into a stiff left hand from Hawk.
Mercury works the jab nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Mercury has taken the fight to the clinch.

Mercury is pushing Hawk up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Mercury has Hawk pressed against the cage.
Mercury lands an elbow inside.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Night Hawk's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dolph Mercury!
A very excited looking Dolph Mercury rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
