Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Igor Nox (ranked 7371 p4p, 649 weight class) and Pietro Marchionni (ranked 4582 p4p, 514 weight class). The key to victory for Igor Nox has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nox has momentary wrist control but Marchionni slips an elbow through the middle.

Marchionni just misses with a punch to the body.
Nox uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marchionni.
Nox lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Marchionni slaps away a takedown attempt from Nox, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Marchionni got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nox has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marchionni has managed to get both his arms back between Nox's legs - danger averted.
