PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Brown (ranked 3124 p4p, 361 weight class) and Price Gouging (ranked 3100 p4p, 358 weight class). Brown kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is This is America. The key to victory for Dave Brown has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gouging shoots in and bounces Brown off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Gouging has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Prosper Training. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Brown escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gouging gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gouging stands and throws Brown's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gouging is looking for a kimura but Brown is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gouging to get the leverage.

Gouging wants to work for an arm triangle but Brown is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Gouging drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gouging jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
