The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Suzuki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Suzuki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown by Press or perhaps it was just good defense by Suzuki which made him look bad.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Press avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

and Press counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Suzuki's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Press working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Press throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Suzuki works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Suzuki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Press stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Suzuki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Press must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Press really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Suzuki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Press is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Suzuki has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Press is looking to defend but Suzuki has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Press! Suzuki pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Press taps out and this one is all over!
